With over 25 years of experience directing sales and marketing efforts for pre-IPO organizations and Fortune 500 corporations, JP Pataky brings significant experience in venture capitals and turn-around situations. As vice president of channel sales for ViaWest, JP draws from broad experience in software, hardware, services, security and cloud-based technologies to assist ViaWest channel partners with transforming IT infrastructure for their clients.
Prior to joining ViaWest, JP served as vice president of sales in the western region for CompuCom, where he managed a $250 million business. He held similar roles for the software division of SunGard, a division of FIS; Vovici, a Verint company, and PDAIntellegence, a custom software developer. Prior, JP served as a consultant and advisor to numerous start-up companies in California and nationally. He helped implement and deploy world-class sales and marketing strategies with companies including marketing/SEO organization and those in the construction, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and laboratory services industries. Additionally, JP served in various field sales and marketing capacities at MicroAge and in product marketing and sales for MicroWarehouse, today owned by CDW.
JP holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University. He is a graduate of the American Marketing Association’s Services Marketing Management Institute and is currently pursuing a Law degree.
