As a kid, Justin was active in Boy Scouts, developing a commitment to serving others. He attended college at Brigham University where he met his wife, Megan Krausman, a native of Las Vegas. The two of them left for Washington, D.C. the day after they were married to intern on Capitol Hill. After graduating from BYU, Justin and his wife returned to Washington, D.C. where Justin attended law school at George Washington University.
Justin has remained active in the community while practicing law, recently forming the law firm of Jones Lovelock, where he is a partner. For several years, Jones has provided pro bono representation for child victims of domestic abuse and neglect through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
Justin has served on several community boards, including the United Way of Southern Nevada, Volunteer Center of Southern Nevada (past chair), Nevadans for Background Checks, Battle Born Progress (past president) and Emerge Nevada.
In 2012, Justin ran for and was elected to the Nevada State Senate. During the 2013 legislative session, Jones served as Assistant Majority Whip, Chair of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee and on the Judiciary and Commerce and Labor Committees.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys running, cycling and hiking in Red Rock Canyon.
