Hector Fernandez
Chief Executive Officer, Aristocrat
Hector Fernandez is Aristocrat’s President of Europe and the Americas, overseeing the company’s multiple teams in North and South America. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Aristocrat.
His fluency in English and Spanish serves him well as he leads Aristocrat from the top of Canada to the tip of Chile. A certified public accountant, he holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting from USC and a BA in Economics/Accounting and Government at Claremont McKenna College.
Prior to joining Aristocrat, he served as Sr. Director of Strategy, Pricing, and Planning, and as Sr. Director, Business Unit Finance at Western Digital. Previously, he was Director of Finance and Accounting at Cydcor; Finance Director, US Commercial Operations – Inflammation Business Unit, and Finance Senior Manager – Global Commercial Operations and Special Projects at Amgen; Senior Auditor at Deloitte; and Finance Manager at Procter & Gamble, although that’s a different type of gamble from what we do at Aristocrat. Hector was born in Guatemala.
He and his wife Lesley have 2 children, Sofia and Mateo. He loves to travel and has been to 5 of 7 continents.
