Jayne Backhouse

Henderson Site Lead, Barclays

Jayne serves as Henderson Site Lead for Barclays, where she works closely with key stakeholders across the business to help delivery on our huge ambitions here in the U.S. Jayne will have direct leadership of the Customer Care teams in Henderson as well as being site lead. The role is the driving force for Barclays in our communities, bringing together collective civic, corporate and citizenship agendas to make Barclays the organization of choice across the U.S. Jayne will lead the group of Collections, Training and Fraud teams as the senior most responsible executive in Henderson.

Most recently, she served as Director of Colleague Transformation for Barclays UK, where she led efforts around colleague enablement and well-being. In this role, she focused on recruitment, colleague development, rewards and performance. She led a comprehensive transformation program to instill common client-centric traits and behaviors that were reinforced through employee recruiting, hiring, training and performance management.

Additionally, she supported line managers to help them recognize ways to help colleagues grow their careers and rise within the organization. After much success, Jayne brought her experience and talent to the U.S. to lead the Henderson site.
