Managing Director & Henderson Site Lead, Barclays

Jayne serves as Managing Director for Barclays US Operations Customer Care and Head of site for the Ohio and Nevada- Henderson campus. In this role, Jayne is the senior most responsible executive in Henderson and works closely with key stakeholders across the business to help deliver our growth ambitions here in the U.S. Jayne has direct leadership for over 1000 colleagues, with our Henderson Campus being home to c 1500 talented colleagues.  Jayne sees the attraction, recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce as being critical to the success of the Henderson campus and sees diversity, equity and inclusion as a vital component in all aspects of the business. She is the driving force for Barclays in our communities, bringing together collective civic, corporate and citizenship agendas to make Barclays the organization of choice across the U.S.

Jayne has spent 28 years with Barclays, first starting part-time in Customer Service and has since held many roles with the financial organizations including as Director of Colleague Transformation for Barclays UK, where she led efforts around colleague enablement and well-being. In this role, she focused on recruitment, colleague development, rewards and performance. She led a comprehensive transformation program to instill common client-centric traits and behaviors that were reinforced through employee recruiting, hiring, training and performance management. After much success, Jayne brought her experience and talent to the U.S. to lead the Henderson site. It’s because of  her career journey and a focus on the people, Jayne is a champion for career progression, leadership development and empowerment for her employees and promotes internal mobility as a priority.

Jayne is also a support of Barclays initiatives to giving back in the communities in which the company operates in lending her time as a mentor with Tech Impact, a work force readiness program for at risk community members and volunteering with Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.
