Paul Krakovitz

Region President, Intermountain Healthcare

Paul Krakovitz, MD, serves as the region president of Intermountain Healthcare in Nevada. He has been serving in this role since March, 2021.

Dr. Krakovitz has deep operational and clinical experience. In his role, Dr. Krakovitz is responsible for growing the medical group, partnering with organizations on community health initiatives, and implementing growth strategies to improve healthcare for the communities we serve in Nevada.

Joining Intermountain in 2017, Dr. Krakovitz served as vice president and chief medical officer of specialty-based care, where he oversaw medical operations for the health system’s hospitals and medical staff representing over 4,500 physicians.

Prior to joining Intermountain in 2017, Dr. Krakovitz was vice-chair of Surgical Operations for the Cleveland Clinic. He served as section head of Pediatric Otolaryngology and was an elected member of the clinic’s Board of Governors.

He received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree in Biology from Indiana University.
