Karlos LaSane II
Regional Vice President, Government Relations, Caesars Entertainment
Karlos R. LaSane II currently serves as Regional Vice President, Government Relations & Community Affairs for Caesars Entertainment Corporation. He represents the legislative interests of Caesars in Nevada and at the federal level in Washington, D.C., serving as a company liaison to leaders at the federal, state and local levels.
LaSane’s knowledge and understanding of government and his strong relationships with policy makers, has enabled him to influence positive change for Caesars, the industry and broader community.
A veteran of the gaming industry, LaSanehas repeatedly demonstrated his ability to quickly grasp policy issues and influence change in the communities where Caesars Entertainment operates.
Prior to joining Caesars Entertainment (formerly Harrah’s Entertainment), LaSane served as Assistant Vice President of Government & Community Affairs for Park Place Entertainment in Atlantic City, New Jersey and was then selected to run government affairs for the corporation’s western region.
LaSane currently serves on the Congressional Award Foundation National Board of Directors, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Nevada Advisory Committee, Government Affairs Committees for the Nevada Gaming Resort Association & Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, American Gaming Association’s Public Policy Committee & Diversity Taskforce, Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada Transportation Resource Advisory Committee, Resort Corridor Mobility Association Board of Directors, and corporate liaison to the Congressional Black Caucus and Congressional Hispanic Caucus for Caesars Entertainment.
LaSane has served as a member of the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA), and New Jersey Development Authority (NJDA) for small businesses, minorities and women‐owned enterprises.
